Sep 6 2003	HLARC Swapfest Lakeside Pavilion Community Center 307 Buena Vista Marble Falls, Texas This location is located right on the banks of the Colorado River, with 5,760 square feet of covered area, and 1000 square feet of enclosed area that is air conditioned. Restroom are located right at the pavilion. Plenty on electrical outlets and 30 folding tables and 200 chairs. Please distribute this information to one and all. OCT 18 -19 2003	JOTA EVENT I will need one or several general class or higher hams to set up portable stations, probably in one of the parks, on OCT 18 -19 so that area scouts can participate in JOTA. I am going to a round table (leaders meeting) in Lampasas tonight to generate some interest and get local hams the contact information. The scout leaders will coordinate with hams to provide a place to set up and other activities (suggestions accepted! ---some are: antenna building, Morse code practice, Skywarn/A.P.R.S. info-- how scouts can help, simple electronics demonstrations etc.)	caseg@lampasas.k12.tx.us
