LAMPASAS WXCLIENT: This is a client software package
that will monitor the Lampasas Weather Station in the background.
You will not have to use your browser to get the weather information
from our weather station because it is done automatically for you.
Runs in the background without your browser. Download it, Unzip it
into a directory and run the WXCLIENT.EXE file. |

FreeWCAM: FreeWX has the ability to automatically upload a webcam image. If an
image file named VidCap.jpg or VidCap.png exists in the FreeWX
folder, it will be uploaded when normal FTP uploading takes place.
To capture pictures from your webcam you can use a simple freeware
video capture application called FreeWCAM from the author of FreeWX. FreeWCAM
is a complete stand-alone webcam application. When used in
conjunction with FreeWX, FreeWCAM can even synchronize image
capturing with the start and end of Civil Twilight!. The current
version is 3.6 and was released on 18th October 2003. |

WebCapture:

WebCapture can capture part of an Internet page and
write the captured data at scheduled times to a pre-selected FreeWX
template. This allows FreeWX users to provide additional data on
their weather pages such as local forecasts and warnings. |

Evans to simplify the repetitive task of regenerating web pages or
text files to reflect the latest changes in information that is
stored in data files. It has initially been designed as a companion
program to FreeWX and is distributed with configuration files to
enable access to the almanac files generated by FreeWX |

FreeWX: is a full
featured Windows program to collect, display, store, upload and
enhance weather data from the WM-918 electronic weather station by
Oregon Scientific. Sadly it appears that sometime around June 2003,
Oregon Scientific stopped manufacturing the WM-918. If you already
own a WM-918 weather station you will be able to use FreeWX. If you
don't own a WM-918 you may unfortunately find them increasingly
difficult to obtain. The WM-918 is a hard-wired weather station.
FreeWX does not work with the WMR-918/968 wireless
stations or any other brand or model of weather station. Given
the demise of the WM-918, support for other weather stations is now
under consideration. FreeWX202.zip is the full version.
